Jess & Matt

On Saturday 18th July I had agreed to help my sister, Louise Marie Make Up, out with a wedding of hers – as I very often do.  She’d told me all about her bride, Jess, and the terrible time she’d had with photographers.  She’d booked a photographer who then decided to cancel on her, leaving her a loss of £500.  Luckily, she’d managed to find another photographer who took sympathy with Jess’ situation.

I arrived at Jess’ house, which was busy busy busy.  Everyone was all go and such a buzz of excitement.  After a while, Jess realised that this photographer (the second one) was meant to have arrived.  She was gutted.  She messaged her … no reply.  “She’s not responded to any of my messages.!”  Jess was devastated.  “I’m going to have no memories of my day!”

Well, I couldn’t resist.  So not knowing the bride or groom, the venue or any of their requirements I called my brother-in-law and asked him to bring my camera.

“You’re a life saver!”

After finishing Jess’ hair and make up and her bridesmaids’ hair, we got Jess in to her dress and on her way to Solihull Registry Office.

I rushed over to meet Matt – he was a little startled when I introduced myself.  My camera arrived all in good times and the wedding was lovely.

Here are a selection of photos which tells the story of their day x
